The city has promised units for displaced cha residents in future replacement housing. but for now, the huge, open, grassy spaces created by the stateway gardens and robert taylor demolitions has attracted some unwanted guests.
there's a whole flock of these roosting four blocks north at 46th st. and it's wise not to get too close. or to walk on the grass, if you know what i mean.
