This video taken through the microscope in an animal hospital shows heartworm offspring called microfilaria. after a drop of blood was centrifuged the tiny microfilaria were concentrated above the buffy coat. if these many microfilaria were present in a single tiny drop of blood, think how many circulate throughout the entire dog!
