Luck would have it that the next town over from lafayette/west lafayette, in tests one hour before tippeco. delphi, who's sirens do business as carroll county ows, has a model 2 (featured) and what is believed to be a hor or aca screemer siren a few blocks west of the 2. this was also the first test of 3 new 2001-130 flood/tornado sirens in the carroll county system. you can hear one of them winding down after the model 2.
please note: the aca screemer did not sound due to a parade at the county courthouse. also, delphi tested 8 minutes early, so i missed most of the test. apparently, they do three minutes of attack.
