hey guys! i'm dana ward at our beverly hills headquarters with the artist spotlight on esmee denters.
some have called her justin timberlake's protege, as she was the first artist to be signed to jt's interscope/tennman records about 2 years ago. esmee hails from the netherlands and she owes her musical discovery to the internet. her homemade singing videos, mostly cover songs early one, have now racked up more than 133-million youtube views, making her into the top 10 most subscribed musician list.
already, this gal has opened for timberlake in holland, toured with enrique iglesias and even joined oprah on her show as a guest. she already has some major fan following overseas, especially in europe, and it seems her us-popularity is growing by the day.
esmee's first single was a duet with jt, somewhat appropriately called 'follow my lead' with another early-on track, 'outta here' getting some major playing time on her debut album of the same name. it's been reported that the 2 co-wrote many of the tracks together on this first album and the latest single to be released is called 'admit it'. as showcased in the newest 'admit it' music video, this girl definitely has a bit of funk and spirit behind her dance/pop/randb vibe.
denters is busy performing as an opening act for honor society during their us-tour and continues to stay linked up to the world via youtube and her @esmeeworld twitter.
