crazy in love {jonas brother love story} chapter 15 part 1
the next morning
nicks p.o.v
(i was sitting at the breakfast bar, eating my cereal, it was 10:00am and joe and kevin were still in bed. i was bored out of my mind. with mum, dad and frankie gone everything seemed so quite, there was no life. i was kinda worried about joe..he just locks himself in his room all day and all night. the only time he comes out is to use the bathroom, i havent even seen him eat anything. there was something up with kevin too, i mean he said he and becky had a fight but i feel like its more than that. he just seems really stressed out. i dont know. and me. well..im heart broken. i have to be friends with the girl im in love with, but im glad we can be at least friends. i wouldnt be able to handle not having her in my life. my phone started to ring and i looked at the caller i.d. jess! i quickly answered.)
nick: hey jess!
(i herd her laughed.)
jess: hey nick
nick: so whats up?
jess: well i was wondering if you were still up for going out today
nick: sure! where do you want to go?
jess: ermm..i dont mind
nick: how about bowling?
(jess groaned.)
jess: you know i suck at bowling!
(i laughed lightly.)
nick: aw, come on itll be fun
jess: fine, but im having the railings up
(i laughed.)
nick: ok, so ill come to your place in about..an hour?
jess: sounds good
nick: great, well ill see you then
jess: ok, bye nick
nick: bye!
(we both hung up and i put my dishes in the sink. i had a shower and got dressed and soon an hour had passed. kevin and joe were still in bed so i left them a note letting them know i had gone out. i walked out of the front door to see jess coming out of hers. we both saw each other and laughed, then we locked our front doors. i walked across the street and met jess at her car.)
nick: ready?
jess: yep!
(we both smiled and got into jesss car, it had been a while since id ridden in here. i had forgotten how nice it was. i herd jess laugh.)
jess: are you done checking out my car?
(i laughed.)
nick: id forgotten how nice it is
(jess laughed.)
jess: well, i have you to thank for it
(i smiled at her and we continued driving to bowl-a-rama [a.n dont ask, random name :p] soon we arrived and we got out, luckily it was quite so hopefully me wouldnt get mobbed by fans. we got to the desk and i insisted on paying, jess insisted on paying for her, but i wouldnt let her. we got our shoes and walked to our lane.)
jess: you know i do have money, i can pay
(i laughed.)
nick: i know, but..i like to pay
(jess laughed and put on her shoes.)
jess: dont you hate bowling shoes..there so..icky
(i laughed again.)
nick: i never really thought about it
jess: youve never thought about how many people have worn them and how many people have weird..funguses on there feet?
nick: ew
(jess laughed and i put my shoes on, kinda grossed out.)
nick: ok, your first
jess: but the railings arent up
(she whined. i laughed.)
nick: go on, just try!
jess: fine!
(she got up and picked up her ball. she walked up to the line and bowled it. straight down the gutter. i couldnt help but laugh. jess turned around and gave me the death glare. she picked up her second ball and bowled it, it went straight in the gutter to. she came back and sat down frowning.)
nick: oh, come on, cheer up
(she pulled a really fake smile and i laughed. i got up and picked up my ball. i bowled my ball. strike! i turned around smiling and threw my arms up. jess just glared at me. i laughed and walked over to her.)
nick: come on, your go
jess: you can take it
nick: jess (i whined.)
jess: i suck!
(i took her hands and pulled her up.)
nick: come on ill help you
(jess groaned.)
jess: fine
(i smiled and kept hold of her hands. we walked over to the balls and she chose one. we walked up to the line and jess stood there with the ball in her right hand. i stood behind her and put my left arm around her tummy and my right hand on her hand, on the ball. i rested my chin on her shoulder and i felt her shiver. i loved being this close to her and i knew she liked it to.)
nick: *whisper* ok, so swing your arm back
(i felt her shiver again and we both lifted our arms swinging the ball back.)
nick: *whisper* swing forward and release
(we both swung our arms forward and let go of the ball. i kept my position as i watched the ball roll down the ally and knock down all the pins. jess turned around smiling, making me stand up straight.)
jess: *quietly* thanks
nick: my pleasure
(she blushed and walked back to her seat. i smiled to myself and we carried on with our game talking and laughing. jess was better, but..still pretty bad. we finished our game and walked over to the machine while it added up our scores.)
