This beltane dance was done for the larp embracing the muse. the characters eleanor (in pink fringe) and messina (in green) did a dance for the entertainment of the fae community in muses (aka, bloomington, indiana)
the dancers - margaret and jeana - spent about 8 hours practicing this dance. we used american tribal style as the basis for the dance and added our own ideas as well. it was very much fun!! plus both dancers are now in the troupe different drummer belly dancers - - so go visit.
yes, it is being taped from the back view but that is due to availability of the power outlet. but hey, it does give one a good idea about what the dance looked like from the back. :)
