Well im just stating the facts and what i have seen. You cannot base your opinion only on what you have seen in your family and what you have seen in the part of colombia you have been to. Census bases demography on the whole country of colombia and is right most of the time. reptarkingofozone5 on 2008, 10, 06
Mi amigo jac8897, estoy completamente de acuerdo, con sinceridad. Eres razonable. felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 10, 05
yep i know bogota probably more that you since i live there, and i think you dont know the difference between an indian and a mestizo right. Mestizo is a mix between but mextizo people dont carry the same "costumbres" as indian, So would you call U.S people, british because their ancesters came from there, or an australian a british, they probably look the same but are different no? jac8897 on 2008, 10, 05
Según las fuentes oficiales,[1] la población indígena o amerindia en Colombia, en los inicios del siglo XXI, es de 1'378.884, lo cual quiere decir que los indígenas son el 3,4% de la población del país. only 3,4% of the population that means the rest is white, mestizon, black and in between.according to the last census jac8897 on 2008, 10, 05
No I have not, that cannot be done, but I have seen much of the interior. I have not seen what you have seen and thus cannot agree with you, but relying upon the collective impressions (and the identity!) of my mother, tios, tias, cousins and friends I can assure you your perception of Colombian demography is wrongfully skewed. Hispanicized or unhispanicized, the bulk of Colombia is amerindian. It must be embraced and brandished. felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 10, 05
Ha ha haOnly in the south?! Where's Bogota? The south, no. What word is "Bogota" derived from? Undoubtedly you know nothing of Colombia and its rich history. Historical truth and argument aside, just take a single look at the fucking people!! felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 10, 05
yes i have visited colombia and its very white at alot of parts maybe you havent visited all parts of colombia and neither have i but im going with the facts that colombia has a lot of european ancestry and not a little reptarkingofozone5 on 2008, 10, 05
You're wrong. Half. . . not half, some yes, but not half, little actually, and it is confined to la riquesa. Colombia is amerindian, that 3 percent, which reflects the census data of any source, applies to those who have conserved their tongue and culture more than others. A mestizo is hispanicized, but indio. Have you visited Colombia? Colombia will only ever be anything on the world stage once it has wholly embraced its indigenous identity and thrown off the shackles of Spanish colonialism. felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 10, 05
i really dont know what or who u guys are talking to but colombia is almost half european ancestry the rest is mostly meztizo and only about 10 percent is black and like 3 percent is indigenous so if any one is saying that colombians are indians they are very wrong because there is a lot more European in colombia than in mexico... im half colombian my self and i recognize my german ancestry .people need to realize that colombians are not the typical hispanics.colombia is very mixed like the USA reptarkingofozone5 on 2008, 10, 05
to felipeanddrespiedra what the heck are you smoking, your saying colombia is a indian nation for your informantion there where indian groups in colombia but they were small. if you have ever being on colombia you would know that the only place where you could find indigenous people is in the southern border. no thing agaist the indigenas but your wrong on your facts about colombia. jac8897 on 2008, 10, 03
Colombia is one state of a larger Amerindia. If you don't believe this, you have never visited Colombia, and your cracka-ass should remain in the states. felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 09, 25
What is it then? felipeandrespiedra on 2008, 09, 25
listen u ignorant piece of shit...i really dont care what ur half of. i dont care what u think of me. and i def. dont care for ur retarded ass comment. if thats what u think bout colombia ancestry let me tell u ur sadly mistaken. now shut up and stop wasting my time. next comment u send i wont answer or bother to read. david3188col on 2008, 09, 25
